This cheese with the Protected Designation of Origin ‘Zamorano Cheese’ is made
with raw milk from Churra and Castilian sheep bred in Zamora. These sheep
graze in a traditional way on the dry plains of the province where the
continental climate, with its harsh seasonal changes, instills a
strong character to the animals.

Characteristics
Yellowish paste, hard, firm and with some eyes. Strong smell and taste very developed, spicy, persistent and with a salty perception.
